Welcome to the spring issue of Avenues! 2006 is already off to an amazing start and this coming year promises to be our best yet.

In January, our study on Canine Scent Detection of Cancer was publicly released by the peer-reviewed journal Integrative Cancer Therapies. Although not officially published until their March issue, our research has already attracted a considerable amount of international media attention. From feature articles in the New York Times, National Geographic, and the Financial Times to segments on NBC’s Today Show and CNN’s Paula Zahn Now, millions and millions of people around the world have now heard about the Pine Street Foundation and our work.
